Loading, green cake separation machine and the stacking of the autoclave carriages

The autoclave palette or the autoclave grate with the cut cake is transferred via a conveyor to the portal system "Loading". A gripper places the palettes or grates on an autoclave carriage.

Because of the nature of some raw material mixtures, the aerated concrete blocks may tend to stick to each other. This can often create a significant amount of waste. In order to counteract this, WKB Systems recommends the use of a green cake separation machine (GSM). This may be used between the removal of an AAC cake from the cutting line and setting down on the autoclave carriage. The GSM then counteracts the bonding of the brick rows during the autoclaving process. In this way much less waste is produced.

In order to be able to tailor individually to your needs, we have a number of GSM variants on offer:

  1. As a smart design integrated in the gripper, it separates all neighbouring bricks at their broad cut surfaces wherever an autoclave pallet is used.
  2. We recommend a stand-alone machine when using an autoclave grate, upon which the gripper lays the laden frame. The grate is centred when lowering onto the GSM, so that the cake is placed precisely on the separation trusses. The separation trusses are arranged beforehand depending on the block format. Now, the individual trusses are sequentially moved by a few millimetres, so that gaps arise between the individual rows of AAC blocks.

After the separation process and before transport by the portal system, the autoclave grate lying below the separation trusses is cleaned of fallen debris using an air blaster. After the discharge of the autoclave grate with the separated aerated concrete cake, the separation trusses are cleaned with a steerable, rotating brush.

In order to achieve a perfect process for you we can discuss the stacking of the autoclave carriage together with you. All of our variants are designed to allow an optimal use of the autoclaves and a reduction of energy costs. Together, the stacking variants can come in three cake arrangements. These can be with all three lying on top of each other or as two cakes lying next to each other with the third stacked on top. Another possibility is to arrange the three cakes next to each other. For version 1 (three stacked cake) WKB Systems recommends the use of stacking support manipulators, which automatically insert and pull the stack supports.
